Any doubts?

Wow, after seeing this picture, I had to take a double glance to make sure it wasn't actually Mariane Pearl. Well damn! You go Angelina! All miniscule doubts I had are now erased!

What do you think? Are you still not convinced that Angelina Jolie is the right actor for this role?

I saw the actor who will portray Daniel Pearl but I didn't see much of a resemblance there.

'A Mighty Heart' will debut in theaters in 2007.

Paparazzi chase Pitt, Jolie on rickshaw ride

PUNE, India - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, in India to shoot scenes for a movie about the slain journalist Daniel Pearl, went on an autorickshaw ride with their 5-year-old son Sunday.

The couple were chased by photographers, cameramen and reporters, forcing them to turn back after a 20-minute ride that took them past stores in downtown Pune, in western India.

Several traffic signals slowed their short rickshaw ride. At every red light, security men traveling in a rickshaw behind jumped out and surrounded the three-wheeler to prevent the media from snapping pictures of Pitt and Jolie.

They then returned to the Le Meridian hotel, where they have been holed up since arriving Thursday.

Security for the star couple has been tight since their arrival in Pune by private jet along with their children Maddox, 5, Zahara, 18 months and 4-month-old Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.

On Saturday, one of Pitt’s and Jolie’s bodyguards manhandled a British photographer as he tried to take their picture at the hotel, an incident caught on video by an Indian television station.

The couple are reportedly scheduled on Monday to start shooting scenes for “A Mighty Heart,” in which Jolie plays Pearl’s widow, Mariane.

The movie is based on an adaptation of Mariane Pearl’s book, “A Mighty Heart: The Brave Life and Death of My Husband Danny Pearl,” and will be co-produced by Plan B, a production company founded by Pitt and his ex-wife, actress Jennifer Aniston.

What did the photographer do to provoke Mickey to "manhandle" him? Didn't Mickey ask him not to take a picture... to leave them alone, stop following them... etc? And did the photographer obey his request? Did the paparazzi call Mickey a name, give him the finger or spat at him? Who knows what provoked Mickey to bitchslap the guy, as demonstrated in the photo above. But I'm sure Mickey was still only doing his job and was appropriately dealing with a hardheaded greedy paparazzo hell bent on getting his treasured Brangelina photo.

Sigh... it's going to be a rollercoaster ride reading reports about BAMZS in Pune for another month.

ETA: I found this footage at X17 which clearly demonstrates not only the risk of danger that the X17 photographer placed himself in, but Brad and Angelina, and especially Maddox. What if that rickshaw driver got into an accident because of the pap chasing them. Hello, anyone remember what happened to Princess Diana?
